According to SAIC, recently, national ministries and commissions such as the MIIT and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission have made a series of decisions and deployments to ensure the stability of the industry chain and supply chain and promote the high-quality development of the automotive industry. On September 15, CAAM issued the "Initiative on Payment Standards for Automakers' Suppliers," proposing standardized guidelines regarding payment-related content in procurement contracts between automakers and supply chain enterprises. In June 2025, SAIC officially announced that it would standardize the payment period for suppliers to within 60 days and avoid using settlement methods such as commercial acceptance drafts that increase the financial pressure on suppliers. Subsequently, SAIC will continue to actively implement the requirements of the "Regulations on Ensuring Payments to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" and respond to the "Initiative on Payment Standards for Automakers' Suppliers" with concrete actions, focusing on key links such as order confirmation, delivery and acceptance, payment and settlement, and contract duration to promote high-quality and efficient capital flow among upstream and downstream enterprises.
